Occasionally your 360 camera may produce an error message when trying to connect or capture.
If you are using an Insta360 camera, please ensure the Insta360 mobile app is not also running at the same time as StructionSite.
Make sure your battery is sufficiently charged and there is remaining storage on the camera.
Verify that StructionSite has access to bluetooth connections, location information and cellular data in your mobile device settings.
Check that the camera's firmware is up to date. This can be done by connecting to the insta360 or Ricoh mobile app.
If you have done these things and still cannot connect, please try the following:
If you have previously connected this camera to this device, start here:
iOS
Open the StructionSite app.
Navigate to the three lines menu in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Select the gear icon to go to the app settings.
Choose the the second option down "camera management".
Here you will find your camera listed under previously used. Swipe left on that camera to delete the connection.
Once the connection is deleted, sign out of the StructionSite app and power off your device.
Power your device back on, sign back in and re-attempt to connect to the camera.
Android
Navigate to a drawing within any project.
With the camera powered off, you should be prompted with a screen like the one below.
Select the back arrow in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Tap the "x" next to the camera listed under last used to forget the connection.
Sign out of the StructionSite app and power your device off.
Power back on, sign back in and attempt to reconnect to the camera.
