When capturing content in the StructionSite app, your images and VideoWalks are stored locally on your mobile device. For the content to appear on your projects and be available for your team to view, you will need to sync the newly captured items. You can do this one of two ways: either at the drawing level or through the Sync Management menu found in the mobile app's Main Menu.

After capturing, how to sync on an individual drawing:

All unsynced items are represented with yellow pins.

1. Connect your mobile device to a dependable WiFi network.

NOTE: You can sync over cellular data, but we recommend using WiFi for a stronger, more reliable connection.

2. In the upper left-hand corner, select the cloud icon. This will include a yellow badge listing the number of items that are ready to be synced.

NOTE: Android, this will be on the top right.

3. Once initiated, your content will begin to sync, and you’ll receive a push notification once completed.

4. After completion, you and your team members will be able to view the recently captured content on the StructionSite Web and Mobile apps.

Syncing through the Sync Management page:

1. Connect your mobile device to a dependable WiFi network.

3. Go back to the Main Menu (where you can view all of your projects).

4. Click the Hamburger Menu on the top left corner (3 sideways lines) and select “Sync.”

5. You will now be under the “Sync Management” page. Here, select “Sync Now.”

NOTE: You can also select the yellow banner on the Main Menu to open “Sync Management.” This option is not available on Android.

6. Once initiated your content will begin to sync, and you’ll receive a push notification once completed.

7. After completion, you and your team members will be able to view the recently captured content on your mobile device or web application.
