There are many reasons why you might need to export the data that you've been capturing in StructionSite. Whether you need to share photos for a particular RFI, provide visual proof for payment, or submit site documentation for project closeout, the Offline Project Deliverable allows you to share your project outside of StructionSite.

At any time during a project, you can export the content you've captured during the project into an offline deliverable. Through the Export Project Data feature, you can filter the content you are exporting based on the drawings, date range, and/or media type. After the export has been processed, you will receive an email with .zip files to download to your computer. The offline project deliverable will contain PDF drawings as well as photo and video files stored in StructionSite.

In order to view the Offline Project Deliverable, you will need access to the following:

  • A PDF viewer, such as Bluebeam or Adobe Reader

  • Adequate space on your computer or USB drive to store all photos/PDFs

  • A web browser to view 360 photos

The video below will walk you through the process step-by-step.

To export an Offline Deliverable, follow these steps:

1. From the project homepage, navigate to the "Settings" tab.

2. Under the "Export Project Data" section, select the "Start new export" button.

3. On the "New Export" page, you can filter the data you would like to export by drawing, date range, and media type. Each category needs to be completed in order to export the offline deliverable. Once the "Export" icon turns orange, click the "Export" button to complete your export request.

4. You will receive a confirmation message that your project data is being processed. Click "OK" to return to your project's Settings page.

5. Once our servers have processed your project's content, you will receive an email with a .zip file download link. Depending on the size of the project, the email will contain one or more .zip files.

6. Download the. zip file(s) and unzip the files to a folder on your desktop or onto a USB drive. Please note that the files must be unzipped in order to work properly.

To access your project export, follow these steps:

1. Download the .zip file(s) and unzip them onto a folder on your desktop or onto a USB drive. You can do this by opening the export in the downloads folder, dragging the file onto your Desktop, then, right-click on the exported project folder, and select "Extract All" before moving the file(s).

NOTE: Depending on the size of your project and volume of content, download times for the offline deliverable may vary.

2. Open the Drawings folder to view the Offline Deliverable as a PDF.

3. Navigate to a specific 360° or Standard Photo pin on the floorplan. Select the pin to be redirected to the image in a web browser.

4. When opening a progress pin, you will be redirected to view a PDF that includes all of the pin's images with corresponding dates.

5. Select the desired image to view in a web browser.

NOTE: All hyperlinked 360 images will take you to a formatted image for viewing. See the next steps to locate the original images.

6. To view the raw files, open the Media folder to access the following:

  • 360 Photos - .jpg

  • 360 Videos - .mp4

  • Standard Photos - .jpg

  • Standard Videos - .mp4

  • Project Drawings - .pdf

  • Viewable 360 Photos - .html

7. To locate the original file, while viewing an image in the web browser, copy the series of letters, numbers, and symbols after the last forward slash in the UTM bar (minus the .html) and paste it in the search bar of the Media folder to find the .jpg image.

To access your project's export history, follow these steps:

1. From the project homepage, navigate to the "Settings" tab.

2. Under the "Export Project Data" section, select the "View export history" button.

3. On the "Export History" page, you can see who requested an offline deliverable, which files they exported, the date the export was requested, the date the offline deliverable expires, and the status of the export.

4. To redownload an Offline Project Deliverable, click the "Downloads" button next to a past export. This button will be available as long as the export has been completed and has not yet expired. Download the .zip file(s) using the same process as above.
